Week Eleven

We missed a few posts between week five and now. Time flies.

Lynn felt poorly after the last Chemo treatment. The effects are "cumulative" and they did, in fact, cumulate (I hope this is the proper use of the transitive verb).

She is ill this week, but it may be due to a viral infection, and we hope it clears up by the end of this week.

The great news so far is that the tumor IS shrinking - a terrific indicator that the Chemo drugs are doing their jobs.

We appreciate all the notes and posts, and we will keep the updates coming more frequently.

Here is a picture I took the week before treaments began:

Hi Lynn,
Just wanted you to know I have been in prayer all day as you are in surgery. Our Lord is with you and I pray that He will make His presence known to you in a powerful way today. I will continue to pray for a quick and complete recovery time. Just rest, my friend. Rest your body and give it as much time as it needs in bed, and rest your heart in the loving arms of our Father. I will talk to you on Sunday. Much love, Jul.
